The chemicals that are associated within these are very harmful. It can lead to an increased risk of having breast cancer and skin diseases. Synthetic colors – are derived from petroleum or coal tar sources. This can cause skin cancer, and are linked to ADHD in children. Many countries have banned it. But it’s still found in many products. You can check it on your product label and notice FD&C or D&C.
Fragrance mixes have been associated with allergies, dermatitis, respiratory distress and potential effects on the reproductive system. It can be found in many products such as perfume, cologne, conditioner, shampoo o, body wash and moisturizers.
Phthalates – A group of chemicals used in hundreds of products to increase the flexibility and softness of plastics. Triclosan – This can be found in toothpastes, antibacterial soaps and deodorants.

The constituents are a combination of many other harmful chemicals which can increase the risk of kidney and respiratory damage. It has various sources such as shampoo, body wash/cleanser, and mascara.
Toluene – It is a petrochemical derived from petroleum or coal tar sources. You may see it on labels listed as benzene, toluol, phenyl methane, and methylbenzene. Toluene vapors may cause developmental damage in the fetus and expecting mothers should avoid its exposure. Toluene has also been linked to immune system toxicity. Nail polish, nail treatments and hair color/bleaching products contain such chemicals.
Propylene glycol is a small organic alcohol generally used as a skin-conditioning agent and appointed as causing dermatitis as well as hives in humans. Moisturizers, sunscreen, makeup products, conditioners, shampoo and hair sprays are sources for such toxins.
Sunscreen chemicals – these chemicals function as a sunscreen agent, to absorb ultraviolet rays of light. And are known for endocrine disruptors and are believed to be easily absorbed into the body. They may also cause cellular damage and cancer in the body.
